After pushing out its iOS 11.0.1 update just recently, Apple has now made the first public betas for iOS 11.1, tvOS 11.1, and macOS 10.13.1 available for download. The public beta follows the developer beta release from earlier this week. Notably, the first betas do not introduce any major user-facing features or even the support for Apple Pay Cash service, which was earlier expected to come with the update.

The Apple Pay Cash feature is expected to be launched with iOS 11.1, if the 'late October' mention on the Apple Watch Series 1 page is to be believed, as per a report by 9To5Mac. However, if that turns out to be true, the support might be added with a future update for the platform. However, the first iOS 11.1 beta does enable Apple Watch owners to update to watchOS 4.1 beta, as per the report.

The watchOS 4.1 beta introduces support for streaming from Apple Music and a new Radio app, but it is currently available only to registered developers and there is no public beta.

For those who are unaware, Apple Public Beta Software essentially allows users to test the company's pre-release versions of its latest software and helps it sort out the bugs associated with the platform. Those who are interested in the program can sign up for it from the company's website. Now, the support for Messages in iCloud and AirPlay 2 is expected to be made available with a future update as well, as pointed out in the report.
