OnePlus is a Shenzhen-based start-up and producer of smartphones founded in December, 2013. The company's claim to fame is its bid to offer flagship-level specs in its smartphones, at affordable prices. OnePlus initially sold its smartphones only through an invite system where customers would be sent an invite to purchase smartphones and they had to make the purchase within a fixed time frame. Of late the company has held open sales of its smartphones too. OnePlus's latest mobile launch is the Nord CE 4. The mobile was launched in 1st April 2024. The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2412 pixels at a PPI of 394 pixels per inch. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 is powered by 2.63 MHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor and it comes with 8GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB, 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 1000GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 packs a 50-megapixel + 8-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 16-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 runs Android 14 and is powered by a 5500mAh non removable battery. It measures 162.50 x 75.30 x 8.40 (height x width x thickness) and weigh 186.00 grams. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) mobile that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, USB Type-C, Active 4G on both SIM cards, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Face unlock, Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.
